Transfer The Kedarkantha Trek renders breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, dense pine forests and delightful pastures. Throughout the winter months, the entire trail is covered in snow creating a magical winter wonderland experience. The best part of the trek is reaching the summit of Kedarkantha peak, which stands at an altitude of 12,500 (3810 meters) above sea level. Kedarkantha region is rich in biodiversity, with diverse Flora and Fauna. Trekkers may come across various himalayan bird species, including Monal Pheasants as well as wildlife such as Musk Deer and Himalayan Bear.
Sunglasses, torch, trekking pole, charger, power bank, quick dry towel, adequate amount of cash, quick snacks/dryfruits/energy bars, trash & waterproof laundry bags, re-usable water bottle.
Good quality rucksack (preferably 40-60 liters) & day backpack (preferably 20-30 liters) with rain-cover is recommended, avoid to carry trolley bag.
Personal medication (as prescribed by the doctor) & first-aid, sprain relief spray, glucose powder, tablets for headache, fever, diarrhea, motion sickness, dettol & cotton/bandages.
Personal documents & ID's like aadhar card, drivers license, passport or any other valid Government ID proofs.
Personal care items like cold cream, sunscreen (preferably SPF50), lip balm, sanitary pads, toothpaste & other toiletries, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, insect repellent, body spray, toilet paper.
Heavy down jacket (supports -5°C to -10°C), wind proof jacket, long track/cargo pants (preferably polyester), T-shirts, body thermal wears, sun cap/hat, woolen cap & gloves, raincoats/ponchos.
A pair of trekking shoes with good grip, ankle support & waterproof, atleast 3 pair of socks & floaters/sandals (for campsite purpose).
