Turtuk is a village in Leh which is very good for its scenic views. A tribe of balti people just found in Turtuk only. So let’s go for the road trip to Leh Ladakh with Turtuk from where you will feel so good and have a memorable journey.

Itinerary

Day 1 Leh Arrival | Acclimatization & Day at Leisure

After arriving in Leh via flight, check in to our hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure.
This will be your acclimatization day as you will be starting a thrilling road trip to a high altitude region in the Himalayas the next day.
Post refreshment, feel free to take a stroll around the beautiful Leh Town and socialize with your co-travellers.
In the evening, don’t miss out the much-needed acclimatization session by your trip captain followed by home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2 The Leh Town | Leh Sightseeing Day | Cafe Hopping, Bazaars & More

Wake up to a relaxed morning and post breakfast head out to explore the beautiful Leh town and few nearby attractions.
Visit the confluence of Indus-Zanskar rivers by covering Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hills and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara enroute.
Visit mesmerizing Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace in the evening.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3 Drive from Leh to Nubra Valley | Khardung La | Hunder Arrival

Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast ride towards Nubra Valley via one of the World’s highest motorable roads - Khardung La situated at 17,582 feet.
Enroute Hunder Sand Dunes in Nubra Valley, we will visit the stunning statue of Maitreya Buddha at Diskit Monastery.
After arriving in Hunder, check in to our scenic campsite and quickly head out to take a ride on a double hump bactrian camel - a unique mammal found here in India's cold desert. Optionally, you can also go for ATV Quad biking in sand dunes by your own.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss tents.

Day 4 Turtuk - India’s Last Village | Back to Hunder in Nubra Valley

Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning in Nubra Valley and post breakfast drive towards Turtuk village to explore the northernmost part of India as we go parallel to Shyok River to reach the Last Village.
Flanked by Nubra on one side and Baltistan on the other, the landscape, culture, language, clothing, and even the physical features of people change quite drastically crossing over into Turtuk. Witness the jawdropping vistas of snow-clad Karakoram mountains as seen from this sleepy village situated close to the Indo-Pak border.
After arriving back in Hunder, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss tents.

Day 5 Drive from Nubra to Pangong Tso | Shyok Valley | Pangong Arrival

Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, move towards Shyok Valley and ride further to Pangong Tso.
Pangong Tso is Asia's one of the most scenic high altitude salt water lakes situated at 14,270 feet.
Enroute Pangong Tso, we will take a pit stop at Durbuk or Tangtse village to grab a satisfying lunch.
After arriving at Pangong Tso, check in to our scenic campsite and quickly head out for a walk around the lake for an #InstaPerfect shot.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss tents/cottages.

Day 6 Drive from Pangong to Leh | Chang La, Thiksey & More | Leh Arrival

Wake up early in the morning and experience the soothing sunrise at Pangong Tso.
Post breakfast, ride back towards Leh town via another high altitude motorable road - Chang La situated at 17,586 feet. Enroute Leh, we will stop by at the gorgeous Thiksey Monastery and Rancho School. After arriving in Leh, check in to our cozy hotel and have some much-needed leisure.
Since this is your last day in the beautiful Leh town, therefore make the most out of it by chilling with your travel clan at various quaint cafes and take authentic souvenirs for your loved ones back home.
Post exploration, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 7 Back to Home | Trip Ends

In the morning, post breakfast say goodbye to your hosts in Leh and leave for the airport.
Reach home with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.

Transportation: All local travel in Force Traveler/MUV/SUV Cab with group pickup & drop facilities from Leh Airport.

For Bikers: Fuel as per itinerary, backup support & mechanic will be included. Bikes will be provided from Leh to Leh (i.e. from Day 2 to Day 6). Riding gears like rider gloves (only for rider, not pillion), knee guard, elbow guard and helmet will be provided.

6 Nights Accommodation on Sharing Basis: Hotel (Leh Town), Swiss Tents (Nubra Valley), Swiss Tents/Basic Cottages (Pangong).

12 Meals: Leh (3 Dinners+3 Breakfasts), Nubra Valley (2 Breakfasts+2 Dinners), Pangong (Breakfast+Dinner).

Experienced and cool Trip Captain/Bike Captain.

All Inner Line Permits for the trip and Complementary Bonfire Night.

Things To Pack

Good quality rucksack (preferably 50-60 liters) with rain-cover & a small day bag pack or trolley bag is recommended, since you’ll be changing multiple accommodations during the entire trip.

A pair of shoes (mainly sports) with good grip & waterproof, atleast 2 pairs of socks & floaters/sandals/slippers.

Heavy down jacket, light fleece, long track/cargo pants, long/short sleeves T-shirts, body thermal wears (as per season), sun cap/hat, woolen cap & gloves (as per season), hoodie, raincoats/ponchos.

Personal care items like cold cream & moisturiser, sunscreen (preferably SPF40), lip balm, sanitary pads, toothpaste & other toiletries, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, insect repellent, body spray.

Personal medication (as prescribed by the doctor) & first-aid, sprain relief spray, diamox, glucose powder, tablets for headache, fever, diarrhea, motion sickness, dettol & cotton/bandages.

Personal documents & ID's like aadhar card, drivers license, passport or any other valid Government ID proofs, needed while applying for inner line permit.
